WARNING!!! Gratuitous use of the exclamation mark follows!!!

Yes sir, two new Monkey Island games are coming out soon!  Well, one is a remake of the original “Secret of Monkey Island” which is fantastic, while the other is an entirely new game called “Tales of Monkey Island” and will be an episodic adventure released in 5 chapters!  Both will feature voice-over work by the original cast of the third Monkey Island game “Curse of Monkey Island”!

Most Importantly, Dominic Armato returns lending his vocal chords to bring the main character Guybrush Threepwood to life once more!  On a side note check out Dominic’s food blog at www.skilletdoux.com, I recommend the recipies link, he has some good ones!

Next and just as important, Michael Land is working on an all new soundtrack for “ToMI”!  If you’ve played the game, or havn’t one of the best parts was the great soundtrack, it’s just so iconic!

This is the most exciting video game news I’ve heard since the Diablo 3 announcement!  I can’t express how amazing this is!  Go pre-order “Tales of Monkey Island” NOW!!  Thank me later, especially if you’ve never played a Monkey Island game before; You don’t know what you’re missing!

PS:  be sure to checkout www.mixnmojo.com and www.worldofmi.com for all your adventure gaming and Monkey Island needs…

Shipwrecks and Demons: Now with 20.385% more Dwarves!

Here’s the latest version of Shipwrecks and Demons!

Current synopsis:  Your character has just been shipwrecked into a woodsy area, you start exploring your surroundings, find a small clearing to a cave perhaps, then the monsters come out!  Then, you find the camps of a volcano-worshiping tribe (I need to add some volcano sound effects hehe), then perhaps venture to a cave at the base of a mountain deeper in the forest to find inside it is a large empty dwarven hall or throne room.  Next thing you know you are hiding behind darkened columns in a corner observing some sort of party…

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

PS: The new part is at the end around 6:54  Oh,  and if you can figure out where that percentage comes from..   you get…  to pat yourself on the back!  Good Job!
